19 Year old off to see the World :)

Hi Everyone....

Recently a lady from my church ask me to go to Yerevan with her on a missions trip. I have traveled all across the US but never out of the country. I don%26#39;t know what I am in for. I have read a lot about Armenia but I don%26#39;t even know what all I need to go over there. Well, I know I need a passport.. but to be honest, that is all I know of. I%26#39;m young and scared... however, I cannot wait. I%26#39;m going in April 2007. I would like for you to give me any advice, tips, etc because I want to know all that I can. Thanks :))

I visited Armenia in 2001, my boyfriend visited in 1999 and 2001 to stay with a British journalist friend. The people are very friendly, but extremely poor. It is quite easy to get around usually you hire a driver, your hotel should be able to organise it. I%26#39;ll forward your post to our friend who still lives in Yerevan, he%26#39;ll be able to give you more information than I can. It is a beautiful country, full of interesting architecture. June.
